"Imelda J" is born Imelda Ada Okwori, a fast rising pop artist, song writer and  singer with an awesome comportment.

This Benue State born Diva  who is based in Lagos have been in the industry for over 6 years now with great impact in the music industry.


Her 2010 single titled “My Love for you” which featured the Legendary  OJB Jezreel won her an international award, “Lead Times African International Award” as the Best R & B International singer of the year. Another hit from the stables of the talented songstress which was titled “Show Me” featuring pop star, “SideOne" also bagged her the Divas Award 2011 -  Idoma voice entertainment personality of the year 2014.

Subsequently, her latest release Fosoke and Bum Bum Remix also won her City Pride’s Achievers’ Award in 2012, Hype on Tv Award 2013.  The much talked about Scream Award as the Next Rated Female Act 2014 and several nominations under way including The Headies 2014 as the rookie of the year.
