Muna Obiekwe: AGN Announces Burial Arrangements

Actor Muna Obiekwe's body was moved by his relations from the Nigerian Naval Reference Hospital’s morgue at Alakija, Satellite Town, Lagos to Saint Edwards Hospital’s Morgue located in his hometown in Obosi, Onitsha, Anambra State.

Muna, a renowned actor with a terrific personality died on January 18th. He was loved by many. Farewell messages and sympathies have since his death been rolling in.

Burial arrangements as announced by the AGN president is as follows:

February 1st 2015. Meeting point at Marsha, Roundabout, Surulere by 4pm. Procession from there to Ojez stadium. Dress code – white.

35-year-old marriage dissolved over sex starvation

A Mushin Customary Court, Lagos, on Thursday dissolved a 35-year-old marriage between Paul Odunbaku and his wife Titilayo over sex starvation and emotional abuse.

Odunbaku, 63, an engineer, had urged the court to dissolve his marriage to Titilayo, for alleged sex starving and emotional abuse.

The court President, Mrs Rukayat Wushishi, in her judgment, dissolved the marriage and admonished them to maintain peace.

Wushishi appealed to the petitioner to continue to play his fatherly role to his six children, five of whom, were married.
Odunbaku, had told the court that the marriage had been devoid of love for the past 21 years.

Man caught raping elderly woman at Zoo Lake

Johannesburg - A man was arrested on Friday after he was caught raping a woman, 65, at Zoo Lake in Parkview, Johannesburg, police said.

"The rape was witnessed by a lady who works for City Parks at Zoo Lake. She alleges she heard a lady screaming and... she went to investigate with her colleague," said police spokesperson Lloyd Ramovha.

Passers-by helped to apprehend the suspect, 23, at around 09:00 after the witnesses screamed for help.

Parkview police responded immediately and the suspect was detained at Parkview police station, he said.
